Governor and others join Ram temple celebrations at Raj Bhavan

The elaborate consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlala ji on Monday took place in the newly constructed grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, unfolding with full grandeur. The Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh UT, Banwari Lal Purohit, along with fellow Ram devotees at Punjab Raj Bhavan, participated in the auspicious event by watching the live telecast, transforming the entire Raj Bhavan into a divine space dedicated to Lord Ram.

To enhance the sacred atmosphere, the entire Punjab Raj Bhavan was adorned with enchanting decorations using various flowers and colorful lights, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.

The devoted Ram enthusiasts present at Punjab Raj Bhawan displayed immense enthusiasm, fully immersed in their devotion to Lord Shri Ram during the event.

Governor Purohit, expressing his sentiments as a devotee of Ram, conveyed that, like all the citizens of India, he had eagerly waited this extraordinary moment, and the grandeur of the occasion exceeded expectations. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the involved organisations, including the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for making this historic moment possible.

The Governor marveled at the nationwide joy generated by the consecration of Ramlala ji in the sanctum sanctorum of the Shri Ram temple.

During this unprecedented social and religious occasion, the Governor offered prayers to Shri Ram Ji, wishing for auspicious lives filled with eternal happiness for everyone.
After the completion of the sacred Pran Pratistha ritual, a Bhandara was organised at Punjab Raj Bhawan. The Governor, along with fellow devotees, officers, and employees of Punjab Raj Bhawan, as well as officials from the UT Administration, participated in the Bhandara, sharing and enjoying Prasad.
