Disgruntled MLAs posing problems for Shinde camp

All is not well after Ajit Pawar joined Shinde-Fadnavis Government. A meeting was held at Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Thane residence and the MLAs, who joined his camp a year ago, expressed their feeling of betrayal as few of them had been promised ministerial positions in government and chairman of different boards in the state which is of rank of minister of state.
MLAs expressed their concern about Ajit Pawar as his team is now part of the government and finally, what happens to the disagreement they had on NCP and their leadership and more so in their respective constituency.
Stunned with series of questions, Shinde promised his MLAs to take the matter to Devendra Fadnavis and discuss the same.
In a way, ugly scenes are emerging that both the factions may turn losers in the coming elections.
Senior MLA of Shiv Sena Shinde faction have also expressed their fear of not getting important portfolio if next expansion takes place as there is still a scope for 14 MLAs who can be adjusted as ministers. They feel NCP has senior faces with them and that they will be assigned important ministries. In turn, they will ensure their party workers will get maximum emphasis.
Fate of 16 Shiv Sena MLAs hangs in balance after Constitution bench of the Supreme Court left the decision to the Speaker of Maharashtra.
