Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan chaired a meeting at the Mini Secretariat with officials from relevant departments to discuss the refurbishment of play schools in the auditorium. He provided clear directives to ensure the enhancement of these schools.
Sarwan emphasised that, in line with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s announcements, 47 play schools have been initiated in Panchkula. He urged all officers to diligently prioritize and complete the assigned tasks for the play schools, warning against any form of negligence.
He disclosed that the Anganwadi centers in the district have been transformed into play schools, requiring facilities such as rooms, kitchens, water, electricity, and painting. This transformation aims to provide early childhood care and education through sports activities for the district’s children. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Executive Engineer of the Panchayati Raj Department to promptly draft an agenda for beautifying these schools.
Present at the meeting were Swati Rajmohan from the Chief Minister’s Office, CMGGA Anukul Tripathi, District Program Officer Savita Nehra, District Education Officer Satpal Kaushik, District Elementary Education Officer Kamlesh, Executive Engineer of Panchayati Raj Department Vikas Rana, SDO of Public Health Department Dharmendra Singh, Electricity Department Executive Engineer MC Jindal, SDO Arun Goyal, Program Manager Gurinder Kaur, District Coordinator Vishwapreet, and Zilla Parishad PO Sonu Rani.
