Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar stated that his government had successfully curbed three ‘Cs’ – corruption, crime, and caste-based politics – which had thrived during the previous Congress government’s tenure in the state.
Interacting with the beneficiaries of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Jan Sanwad Yatra through an audio bridge here, Khattar said they were moving towards 7-star development in Haryana, focusing on shiksha, suraksha, swasthya, swabhiman, swavalamban, sewa and sushasan.
Interacting with the beneficiaries after the Viksit Bharat Yatra touched 5,000 villages, covering
around 37 lakh rural folks over the past 38 days, Khattar said government was providing various services to the citizens. “Previous governments dragged people into caste politics and divided them on the basis of caste. However, we have always ensured the holistic development of Haryana,” said the chief minister.
“When we came to power in 2014, we strongly advocated for ‘Haryana Ek – Haryanvi Ek’. Keeping social harmony in mind, we have ensured that all the schemes benefit the citizens in line with the vision of ‘Antyodaya’,” Khattar said while emphasising that the poor had first right to government schemes and facilities, regardless of their caste.
In April 2023, Khattar initiated the Jan Samvad program in Haryana to address public grievances and ensure the provision of deserved amenities. The Chief Minister personally led approximately 115 Samvad events, while other ministers, MPs, and MLAs also organized similar programs. In total, more than 1,000 such events have taken place, with a comprehensive plan to conduct 8,300 programs covering all villages and wards.
