The BJP District Mahila Morcha organized the Nari Shakti Vandan Marathon on Tuesday, featuring a scooter rally from Sector-7 to Sector-9 led by Mahila Morcha District President Anuradha Verma.

The rally was flagged off by District President Deepak Sharma and State Vice President of Mahila Morcha Babli Sharma. State Vice President Banto Kataria and Honorary General Secretary Ranjita Mehta, along with District General Secretary Paramjit Kaur, actively participated in the event.

District President Deepak Sharma highlighted the rally’s purpose, themed “One race in the name of the nation, one race in the name of Modi,” aiming to inform women about the laws and decisions made by the Modi government in their favor. District President Anuradha Verma encouraged women to play a crucial role in both the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, condemning harassment and sexual exploitation of women in Bengal during the rally.

Deepak Sharma repeatedly chanted slogans in favor of Modi during the scooter rally, urging women to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on March 6 under the Nari Shakti Vandan program. He emphasized the positive impact of schemes like Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, asserting Modi’s dedication to women’s development.

Anuradha Verma, District President of Mahila Morcha, praised Chief Minister Manohar Lal for advancing women’s status in various fields. She expressed the women workers’ commitment to working diligently in the upcoming elections. Verma announced a live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on March 6 under the Nari Shakti Vandan program in all district blocks, encouraging women to participate and listen to the Prime Minister’s speech.
