Another crime against Indian citizen staying in Canada has made it to the headlines. In an incident, a 24-year-old Indian-origin Sikh man has died of gunshot wounds in Canada’s Alberta province. The autopsy report has proved homicide as the reason of his death.
The victim, identified as Sanraj Singh, was discovered by the authorities in southeast Edmonton after they reacted to a complaint of a gunshot at around 8:40 pm (local time) on December 3. Sanraj Singh’s death from gunshot wounds is the most recent in a string of Sikh murders in Canada. On December 3, reports of gunfire in the vicinity of 51 Street and 13 Avenue prompted police to respond.
“The Edmonton Medical Examiner finished the examination on the deceased, 24-year-old Sanraj Singh, on December 7, 2022. Gunshot wounds were the cause of death, and homicide was the manner of death, “In the statement, the Edmonton Police said.
Sanraj Singh was found in a vehicle in medical distress, according to the police. Police asked the residents to identify the vehicle.
This is not the first such case in Canada. Earlier, a 21-year-old woman was shot dead at a gas station in Mississauga, Canada on 3rd December. She was a worker at the gas station. In a similar incident, a 40 year-old woman was shot dead in her home and her husband was arrested at the scene of the incident.
