Nukkad Natak was performed by 8 student volunteers of VADA Club of GCCBA-50 in the open area of college premises and in Sector-42 Lake on 2nd Feb., 2024 on the theme of Drug Abuse and Prevention.

The script portrayed a narrative centered around the life of a young individual who falls prey to drug addiction. The students portrayed their characters in a realistic and relatable manner, highlighting the challenges of addiction and the negative impact it has on their lives. The performance emphasized that drug abuse is not a victimless crime, and it has serious consequences for the individual and their loved ones.
This approach aimed to educate the audience while maintaining the dramatic essence of the play.

The message was clear that everyone has a role to play in preventing drug abuse, and it requires a collective effort. Amongst the audience was students, teaching and non-teaching staff and families of workers working in a nearby construction site.
The performance was an excellent example of how street theatre can be used as a powerful medium to raise awareness about social issues and encourage positive change.
