Chandigarh Club and Novel Bunch hosted an electrifying evening filled with captivating conversations and insights into the worlds of travel and Punjabi cinema. The event, held on Thursday, March 21st, brought together renowned personalities from diverse fields to share their experiences and expertise on two carefully crafted panels. Kicking off the evening at 6:00 pm were outdoor enthusiast Siddhant Jain, adventurer Robin Nakai, and the affable Chitranjan Agarwal, a Chartered Accountant and radio personality, as they engaged in a riveting conversation about the thrill, challenges, and travails of traveling.

Joining them was the distinguished former Indian film actor and sailor Dan Dhanoa, known mostly for portraying cult villain roles in iconic Hindi films like Mard, Karma, Tridev, and Sanam Bewafa etc. From budgeting and itinerary planning to navigating unfamiliar territories, participants exchanged valuable advice gleaned from their own travel escapades. Amidst the practicalities, there was a shared appreciation for the serendipitous moments that often define travel experiences—the chance encounters, breath-taking landscapes, and unexpected discoveries that leave an indelible mark on the soul.

Overall, the session on travel served as a reminder of the transformative power of exploration and the boundless opportunities for learning and growth that await those willing to venture beyond their comfort zones. Joining the conversation was actress and model Deep Sehgal, known for her phenomenal acting in Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua, DSP Dev, and her upcoming Je Jatt Vigad Gya.

Accompanying Deep on stage was Navi Ferozpur Wala, a renowned lyricist and producer popularly known for his work in the Punjabi music industry. Ferozpur Wala has penned the lyrics for numerous hit songs, including the chart-topping Wakhra Swag, sung by Nav Inder and Badshah. His lyrical prowess extends beyond Punjabi music, having also contributed to Bollywood with songs like Dilbara from the movie Pati Patni Aur Woh and Ujjawal Mahajan the dynamic founder of Chaupal – India’s first Punjabi content OTT platform, and talent manager Sandeep Virk who is one of the very few female Talent Managers in the industry.

Together, they provided a comprehensive insight into the dynamics of the Punjabi film industry, offering a holistic view of its growth, creativity, and future prospects. The houseful audience interacted with all the panelists and had a diverse set of questions to ask them. The evening concluded with a networking session over cocktails, providing attendees with the opportunity to mingle and connect with the speakers.
