After the Indore accident, BJP heads took a decision that PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Bhopal will be in simple way. Neither road show nor flowers will be showered,” BJP state president VD Sharma said informing that there is a change in schedule keeping the view of deaths in Indore accident.

The three-day combined commanders’ conference is scheduled to be held at Kushabhau Thakre Hall in Bhopal. It is going to be a VVIP weekend in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Combined Commanders’ Conference (CCC), a premier military brainstorming session on 1 April.

The implementation of ongoing programmes and projects for improving integration and jointness in the defence forces, as well as the current security challenges are anticipated to be covered by the prime minister in this meeting. In contrast, the security forces will give the prime minister a briefing on issues pertaining to jointness in relation to the establishment of theatre commands. The military will also demonstrate its advancements and the defence industry’s implementation of Make in India.

The innovations anticipated to be showcased to the prime minister will expected include a machine pistol named Asmi, which Lt Col Prasad Bansod of the Indian Army has developed.The military officers, apart from the CDS and services chiefs at the event, will include the three Vice Chiefs, CISC, seven Army command chiefs, six air command chiefs and the three command chiefs from the Indian Navy.

The PM will address the commanders-in-chief of the three defence forces in India on the final day of the three-day CCC that commenced on March 30.
