Former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, while addressing a condolence meeting at the residence of State Minister Dheeraj Gurjar, said that the priority for Congress in the upcoming assembly elections is to fight unitedly and win elections in all four states. In Congress, after winning elections, decisions about the Chief Minister are usually made during the legislative party meetings. He also claimed that there is no Ashok Gehlot faction or Sachin Pilot faction in Congress. Pilot was present at the condolence meeting in Bhilwara at the residence of State Minister Dheeraj Gurjar. He said that everyone believes that this time, the BJP has remained unsuccessful both inside and outside the Parliament as the opposition. The lack of public support for their yatras (journeys) is evidence that the public does not trust the BJP.
Criticizing the BJP, he said, “They are hoping to come to power by using the names of the Ram Temple and Hindu-Muslim issues. The public is intelligent and has understood this. Earlier, people used to be confused, but that’s not the case anymore.” He also stated that if Congress wins in all four states, the ‘I.N.D.I.A’ coalition will form the government in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
