The 134th and 135th Sheila Naharawar Memorial All Breeds Championship Dog Show saw a participation of over 450 dogs from 56 different breeds. Held at the Government Arts College Grounds in Ooty, Nilgiris, the three-day event was organized by the South of India Kennel Club (SIKC) and showcased a wide variety of canines.

Judged by international judges from the Philippines, Taiwan, and Singapore, the event highlighted the SIKC’s commitment to enhancing the standards of pedigreed dogs in India. Additionally, the club is dedicated to stray animal welfare and combating animal cruelty.

Thousands of spectators, including tourists, attended the show, which was conducted under the auspices of the district administration. Dogs from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, and Delhi, representing breeds such as German Shepherds, Labradors, Siberian Huskies, Beagles, as well as indigenous breeds like Rajapalayam, Kanni, and Sippiparai, participated in the event.
