Recently, an intelligence agency report has disclosed that the Pakistani Intelligence agency ISI is conspiring to spread terror in Punjab. The report mentions that the ISI is taking the help of Lakhbir Singh Rode to keep the Khalistani movement alive in Punjab.

Lakhbir Singh Rode, who is a terrorist residing in Pakistan, is reported to have prepared 50 sleeper cells and there are 2-3 people involved in each sleeper cell. There are some sleeper cells that have been specially given the task of writing Khalistani slogans and pasting posters on the walls. It is reported that almost Rs 5,000-20,000 have been given to the members of the sleeper cells who wrote slogans on the walls and pasted the posters. All transactions related to money are done hand-to-hand in Punjab and bank transactions are mostly avoided.

Terrorists in Pakistan are inciting unemployed youths of 18 to 32 years to carry out terrorist acts by luring them with money. According tothe security agencies, the youths living in the villages near the border are the ones who mostly fall into the trap of terrorists. The biggest challenge for the intelligence agencies is to identify these youths involved in these sleeper cell groups, so that concrete action can be taken against them.

To catch these sleeper cells, the authorities are now tracing mobile SIM cards. The security agency is looking for records of SIM cards that have been activated in the last three months. They’re looking for SIM cards and phone numbers that are active for a limited time and then turned off again. In the process of locating these sleeper cells, the police are finding WhatsApp to be a major obstacle. The authorities are unable to track the sleeper cells because they are using WhatsApp to communicate. To avoid getting caught by the police, the sleeper cells are using WhatsApp calls, and are instructed to delete the details after making any call.

After this report, all security agencies, including Punjab Police, have been alerted so that the nefarious intentions of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI can be prevented. The security agency is also strengthening the security of sensitive locations. The Pakistani intelligence agency is also worried about the way terrorists are being killed one by one in the Kashmir Valley and that is the reason why they want to create chaos in Punjab.
