The ongoing World Book Fair 2024, scheduled from February 10 to 18 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, promises to enchant book lovers and literature enthusiasts with its grandeur and diversity.

Featuring over 2000 exhibitors, including renowned publishers and independent booksellers, the fair is a treasure trove of literary delights. Showcasing a wide range of genres and languages, the event caters to every literary taste, from classic literature to contemporary fiction, academic texts to children’s books. Attendees will discover an eclectic mix of reading material, with exhibitors representing established publishing houses and emerging voices in the literary world.

A highlight of the fair is the chance for attendees to interact with their favorite authors through author interactions, book signings, and meet-and-greet sessions, providing a unique opportunity to connect with the creative minds behind beloved books.

Cultural programs and activities such as live performances, literary readings, workshops, and panel discussions offer additional opportunities for engagement and enjoyment. The fair, running from February 10 to 18, welcomes visitors from 11am to 8pm at Pragati Maidan, Halls 1-5.

Accessible via the Supreme Court metro station on the blue line of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, the venue provides wheelchair facilities at Gate number 4 and 8. Tickets are available online at the National Book Trust (NBT) website or can be purchased in person at the venue, with prices set at INR 10 per child and INR 20 per adult. Entry is free for students in school uniform, educational trip groups, people with disabilities, and senior citizens.
