Following the stay on Arvind Kejriwal’s bail order by the Delhi High Court, a section of users in social media platform X allege conflict of Interest in Kejriwal’s bail stay order.
As per some users, this stay order was given by Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain, who should have stepped aside from the case, as his brother Anurag Jain was one of ED’s counsel.
THIS IS BIG 🚨
If this is true the entire judicial process that resulted in cancellation of Kejriwal’s bail is in question.
Apparently, the Sudhir Jain, the judge who turned down the bail in HC has a lawyer brother in the ED panel!!
If this is true, it’s a mockery of justice. pic.twitter.com/BFkS8pb4n2

Shocking 😶
Justice Sudhir Jain of the High Court, who promptly denied bail to Kejriwal, has a relative, Anurag Jain, who is a lawyer representing ED. How is this not a conflict of interest? pic.twitter.com/JT2seVgxGf— Piku (@RisingPiku) June 29, 2024
As a result, many users have called for inquiry with one saying ‘This is s
hocking needs to brought in Attention of everyone’
But another declared that Indian judiciary has become a joke.
