In his remarks, Netanyahu detailed Israel’s ongoing military challenges, citing multiple fronts where it is engaged, including recent violent incidents attributed to Hamas. He vowed that Israel would achieve victory, with or without international support, and criticized those calling for an arms embargo as complicit in the rise of terrorism.
In response, Macron emphasized the importance of an immediate ceasefire in the region, while his office reaffirmed France’s commitment to Israel’s security but justified the embargo as a necessary measure to prevent further escalation and promote peace.
