After Gujarat experienced heavy rain, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) helped people who were trapped in various locations. According to the NDRF, rescue efforts were initiated at 6:50 PM in the village of Aakha in the Junagadh district by the NDRF team. A senior citizen and four other villagers were safely rescued by the team from various locations by the team. As many as 157 people were rescued by NDRF teams on Monday from low-lying areas in Gujarat’s Aravalli district after the area experienced heavy rain.

The NDRF shifted the people of Lakeshwari village to safer places.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that he is coordinating with the collectors of the respective districts affected by heavy rains and presently 10 contingents of both NDRF and SDRF have been deployed in rescue operations at various places.
