Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique was shot by three attackers on Saturday. The incident took place outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East, Mumbai.
According to initial reports, three individuals opened fire on Baba Siddique outside the office. He was hit by three bullets and sustained serious injuries.
After being shot, Siddique was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he is receiving emergency treatment. His current condition is still being assessed by the doctors.
Authorities have launched an investigation to identify the attackers and understand the motive behind the shooting. Security has been tightened around the area.
