The Delhi Mandir Cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised the Shri Ram Mandir Utsav Bike Yatra on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva remarked, “When Lord Ram came to Ayodhya after ending his exile of 14 years, the entire Ayodhya city was decorated, and this time Ram Lalla is coming to Ayodhya after five hundred years. Therefore, this festival will also be like Diwali.”
Thousands of saints, temple priests, and party workers participated in the Ram Mandir Utsav Yatra on Wednesday, January 17, which was flagged off by State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva in the presence of Union Minister of State Meenakshi Lekhi, MP Dr.
Harsh Vardhan, and Mandir Cell President Karnail Singh from the Delhi BJP Office. The procession passed through Connaught Place, Delhi Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Bus Stand, and returned via Tis Hazari, Jhandewalan, and Mandir Marg, concluding at the state BJP office at 14 Pant Marg.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva stated that the year 2024 marks the golden period for India, and it can be considered the beginning of Ramraj. He credited this historic development to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing gratitude for the fulfillment of the BJP’s promise. Sachdeva emphasized that the nation will cherish Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s fame for eternity due to his sacred work.
Sachdeva clarified, “This is not just a bike rally; it is the enthusiasm of all Ram devotees who are waiting for the day of Pran Pratistha of Ram Lala. Ram Lalla belongs to everyone, and everyone should be a part of this holy programme.”
He added that when Lord Ram came to Ayodhya after ending his 14-year exile, the entire Ayodhya city was decorated, and this time Ram Lalla is coming to Ayodhya after five hundred years. Therefore, this festival will also be like Diwali.
Similarly, MP Dr. Harsh Vardhan told The Daily Guardian, “This bike rally is a way of celebrating the Pran Pratistha by Ram devotees.
Everyone should decorate their homes and nearby temples with flowers, light a lamp in the name of Ram, make rangoli, and celebrate it as a festival.”
He added that there is a different enthusiasm among the people of Delhi and across the country because Lord Ram is an ideal for all humanity.
