Another coaching student died by hanging in Kota, Rajasthan, on Sunday. The deceased youth has been identified as Bharat, a resident of Dholpur, Rajasthan. He informed the police that he was preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in Kota.
It was found that both he and his nephew Rohit were tenants living in the private sector of Talwandi.
As per Bharat’s nephew Rohit, Bharat went to the market for a haircut on Tuesday morning around 10 a.m. However, despite searching for him for several hours, he could not find him anywhere.
Rohit was alarmed to find Bharat hanging when he looked through the window of his room as Bharat did not respond to his knocks on the door.
The police were promptly informed of the incident and quickly arrived at the scene.
The police informed the deceased’s family members and arranged for the body to be sent for a post-mortem examination.
A suicide note was discovered beside the deceased’s body.
According to the police, the suicide note, comprising two lines, conveyed, sorry father, this time also I will not be selected.
The authorities indicated that the content of the suicide note suggests that the student’s stress was linked to his academic workload.
This marks the tenth recorded suicide case in Kota where a student took their own life due to academic stress.
