In a significant boost to the development of the Narela sub-city, as well as the entire North and North-West Delhi, Delhi LG VK Saxena approved the allotment of 25 acres of land to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and another 25 acres to the newly established Delhi Teachers’ University at Narela, according to a press release from the LG office.
According to the press release, the LG has also authorized these universities’ proposal to purchase flats from the Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) housing stock in Narela for the purpose of staff housing and student accommodation.
