A motivational lecture on “Career Guidance and Counselling” was organized by the Women’s Cell at Government College Sector-1, featuring Nandita, the youngest judge in the Punjab State, as a speaker.
In the seminar hall, Nandita emphasized that everyone possesses unique qualities that need recognition and nurturing. She urged students to make the most of their college years, emphasizing that the right choices during this period can pave the way for a comfortable life. Speaking about the path to success, she emphasized the importance of discipline and self-control, asserting that success becomes more achievable with these qualities.
Addressing the students, College Principal Yashpal encouraged them to set goals and pursue them with dedication and hard work. He emphasized that success is attainable through sustained effort and commitment. He compared student life to a double-edged sword, where even slight carelessness can lead to significant problems.
During the event, Dr. Aparajita, the President of the Women’s Cell, congratulated Nandita and highlighted the pride parents feel when their children are recognized. She expressed that Nandita’s achievement serves as an inspiration for many students.
The lecture drew enthusiastic participation from students, and Dr. Vandita Sharma, Dr. Prem Lata, Dr. Rajbala, Dr. Meenu, Dr. Pooja, Dr. Sheetal, Dr. Rekha Punia, and Dr. Shailja were also present. The stage was moderated by Kusum.
