For his wedding, Naga Chaitanya paid tribute to his legendary grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by wearing a classic pancha, exuding timeless style. Sobhita, on the other hand, stunned in a beautiful Kanjivaram silk saree with real gold zari, complemented by traditional jewelry. Her accessories, including a Baasikam, Maathapatti, Bullaki, and Surya-Chandra motifs, showcased her deep connection to Telugu heritage. Additionally, her jewelry, like the Vanki, Bajubandh, and Kamarbandh, completed her regal look.
The wedding took place over an 8-hour ceremony at Annapurna Studios, established by Akkineni Nageswara Rao in 1976. Located in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills, the studio offered a perfect setting for this intimate yet grand event, reflecting the couple’s shared cultural background.

Following the wedding, reports suggest the couple plans to visit either Tirupati or Srisailam Temple for blessings. The guest list included film industry stars such as Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Upasana Konidela, Mahesh Babu, and Namrata Shirodkar. Other notable attendees included Chiranjeevi, PV Sindhu, Nayanthara, and members of both the Akkineni and Daggubati families, adding to the occasion’s grandeur.
Nagarjuna also shared a heartwarming story about how the couple met. In an interview with The Times of India, he recalled inviting Sobhita to his Hyderabad home after being impressed by her performance in Goodachari (2018). He said, “Chaitanya happened to walk in during one of her visits, and that’s when they met for the first time, if I remember correctly,” giving a personal touch to their love story.
