The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has raided the home of former US President Donald Trumps Mar-a-Ligo in Palm Beach near Florida. In a raid conducted late last night, an FBI team searched Trump’s residence.
Trump said the investigative agency did not give him any information about the raid. According to reports, Trump was not present in the house during the raid. He was in New Jersey.
“My beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said.
Moreover, the reason for this action of the FBI has not yet been revealed.
Former US President Trump compared the FBI’s action to the Watergate scandal. “What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee?” Trump said.
Significantly, the Watergate scandal is the biggest political scandal in the history of America. This happened during the tenure of Richard Nixon, who was the US President from 1972 to 1974, and due to this, he had to resign.
“It is political targeting at the highest level! Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 e-mails after they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House,” Trump said.
Meanwhile, trump said, this is an attack from hardline Democrats, who desperately want to stop me from contesting the 2024 election. Because of the recent elections, they are putting hurdles in this. Trump said he will do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming midterm elections.
However, an FBI spokesperson declined to give further details to the media about the action.
