In Mumbai, two men fatally killed a 17-year-old boy after he allegedly refused to give them the wi-fi hotspot password.
Last week, two men approached Vishal Rajkumar Maurya, a youngster in the Kamothe neighbourhood of Mumbai, and asked him for his wi-fi password. The two accused began abusing him after his denial.
The three started fighting physically, and eventually, the two stabbed Vishal to death. The suspects left the area after, but the Mumbai Police quickly apprehended them.
The victim stood up after being stabbed and took a few steps before collapsing. He was subsequently taken to a local hospital, where medical staff pronounced him dead.
“A 17-year-old boy was murdered by two men for not giving them the wifi hotspot password in the Kamothe area of Mumbai. The two accused stabbed the victim after a fight broke out between them,” news agency ANI quoted Vivek Pansare, DCP Zone-1, Navi Mumbai, as saying.
Santosh Valmiki and Ravindra Atwal, who go by the names Haryanivi and Atwal, are accused of murder.
