A resident of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Rajeev Shukla, claimed to have had a distressing experience after ordering a veg meal box from the Worli outlet of the popular restaurant chain, Barbeque Nation, during his recent visit to Mumbai. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Shukla shared his grievances, asserting that he found a dead mouse in the food, and that consuming the meal led to his hospitalization for over 75 hours.

The incident gained considerable attention on social media, with many users tagging relevant authorities to seek assistance for Shukla. Barbeque Nation responded to the complaint on X, expressing regret for any inconvenience and stating that their regional office representative was in touch with Shukla to understand the details and work toward a resolution.
