Member of Parliament Kartikeya Sharma, who has left no stone unturned to raise the issues associated with all segments of the society so far, is making continuous efforts to make Brahmin Mahasammelan a mega conduct to be held on 5th May in Karnal occasion of Lord Parshuram Jayanti and while visiting different districts in this regard to extend invitations for the same, he is receiving warm receptions through the state. In a bid to ensure maximum gathering, he has toured several districts including Gurugram, Mahendragarh and Rewari along with rural areas to invite people for Mahasammelan.
His father and former Union Minister Vinod Sharma and MP Kartikeya Sharma are taking stock of the preparations for the Mahasammelan. Regarding the program, Kartikeya Sharma said that not only the Brahmin community but people from all segments of the society will participate in the program. Since Lord Parshuram belongs to all of us, it is not the program of a particular party or segment. So, it is our responsibility to ensure a huge gathering at Brahmin Mahasammelan being organized on the occasion of Lord Parshuram Jayanti in which people of the Brahmin community not only from Haryana but from other states will be invited.
On the other hand, it is noteworthy that the Brahmin Mahasammelan also has its own political significance ahead of the forthcoming parliamentary polls. Since Lok Sabha elections draw near, no political factions seems in a position to neglect the people of the community. Voters of the community play an pivotal role in political spheres and deciding factor in the elections. Since there are several bigwigs of the community in all the parties, most of them are believed to remain present in the program. In continuation to aforesaid, it is worth mentioning in this regard , since it is not a program of any one party, rather of the Brahmin community, hence every Brahmin leader will be invited irrespective of their political factions.
Following the discussion with MP Kartikeya Sharma and former Union Minister Vinod Sharma with their supporters, it has been decided to organize the program at Hooda Parade Ground in Karnal. Divulging more details in this regard about Parshuram Mahasammelan, former Union Minister Vinod Sharma said that Brahmin Mahasammelan is going to be grand conduct. Prior to this, Brahmin Mahakumbh was organized in Karnal on 11 December 2022 in which BJP heavyweight and the then Chief Minister Manohar Lal was also present along with big political faces hailing from the community. Everyone praised the role and efforts of Kartikeya Sharma for making it successful.
