Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, the Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs and Education, will be in Malaysia from November 30 to December 2 in order to further the Enhanced Strategic Partnership between Malaysia and India. As per an official release, the understandings of the November 7 India-Malaysia Joint Commission Meeting in New Delhi are carried forward by the India-Malaysia Enhanced Strategic Partnership, which was formed during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 2015 visit to Malaysia. The MoS is anticipated to meet with his counterparts and a number of other ministers in the Malaysian government while he is there. 

He will also attend the inauguration of the first ever GOPIO (Global Organisation for People of Indian Origin) International Business Summit and Expo on December 1 2023 followed by the GOPIO International Business Excellence Awards ceremony on December 2.
The MoS will inaugurate the Indian Workers Resource Centre at the Indian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.

Additionally, he will communicate with Indian community members, including foreign employees in Malaysia. According to the official release, the MoS will also take part in the cultural program titled “Bhakti the Musical” at the Temple of Fine Arts in Kuala Lumpur. In order to increase bilateral trade between India and Malaysia to USD 25 billion over the course of the next three years, BN Reddy, the Indian High Commissioner to Malaysia, recently unveiled ambitious plans for the two countries’ relationship. With an emphasis on economic sustainability, the two nations’ commercial relationship, currently valued at USD 20 billion, is positioned for expansion.
