Congress MLA Bharat Singh Kundanpur from Sangod wrote a letter. In the letter, Bharat Singh wrote, “This is my last letter to you as an MLA. The public has given me the opportunity to work as an MLA four times, and for that, I express my gratitude to all of you.”
It is worth noting that as an MLA in his party’s government, Bharat Singh had levelled serious allegations against the ministers of his own government. This time, the party did not give him a ticket.
He further wrote, “After completing my education in 1971, I came to my ancestral village Kundanpur. From then until 2023, I have been associated with the people of the region and their issues. I am satisfied that being a citizen of this area, with the help of all of you, I was able to develop Sangoth and provide an identity. I am also grateful to all those brothers who have criticized me because they have always highlighted my shortcomings. I will remain indebted to the boundless love of the people of Kundanpur village and Panchayat because they have always been with me in joy and sorrow. I am grateful to all of you for your significant contribution to establishing Kundanpur in the state.”
Earlier he also wrote a letter to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, raising questions on his practices. In the letter, MLA Bharat Singh wrote, “You have openly supported Bhaya’s corruption. The Khan’s huts have not been included in the Kota district. This does not give dignity to Gandhiwadi Ashok Gehlot. Your honesty is dead. On the death of your honesty, I am getting my head shaved and presenting my hair to you. Please accept this trivial gift. Remember Mahatma Gandhi and contemplate the ‘seven’ sins he taught about. The position of the Chief Minister is not permanent.”
