A six-year-old girl is allegedly sexually assaulted by the son of her tuition teacher in the Sangam Vihar area of South District Delhi, sources said.
According to Delhi police, a complaint regarding this incident has been registered under Section 354 of the POSCO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act.
The police received information regarding this incident through a PCR call from the mother of the girl. According to the mother, her daughter went to school on the street next to their house; however, she returned early, which she found unusual. On inquiry, the daughter revealed that the son of the tuition teacher tried to disrobe her and made sexual advances towards her.
The tuition teacher was arrested, and an investigation has been initiated.
