A district workshop for the Shakti Vandana campaign was organized at the BJP state office on Thursday. The main guest for the workshop, Minister of Local Self Government, Jhabar Singh Kharra, discussed schemes being undertaken in the direction of women’s empowerment by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra stated, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, efforts are being made to make women self-reliant and improve their economic conditions. The Lakhpati Didi Yojana, implemented by the central government, will also help women across the country, including the state. The Shakti Vandana program is being conducted nationwide with the main objective of making women self-reliant.”
In the workshop, Pooja Kapil Mishra, the state coordinator of the Shakti Vandana campaign, provided detailed information about the campaign. During this, Pooja Kapil Mishra mentioned that under the Shakti Vandana campaign, contact will be made with 2 crore women in Rajasthan through the sisters of 48 lakh self-help groups.
