Joraram Kumawat, the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister, affirmed the commitment to maintain the quality of Saras milk in Rajasthan’s cooperative dairies during a discussion with dairy officials and elected chairpersons of cooperative dairies at the Saras Complex headquarters.

He declared that the social and economic upliftment of milk producers is the top priority of the newly formed government, with plans to implement new welfare schemes. The focus will be on connecting dairy producers to cooperative dairies at the grassroots level, encouraging the formation of new primary dairy producer cooperative societies.

Minister Kumawat underscored a zero-tolerance policy for milk and Saras brand cattle feed adulteration, proposing the formation of a state-level task force to combat such practices. He emphasized the need for collaboration to popularize the Saras brand not only within Rajasthan but also in neighbouring states.
