However, several notable names were conspicuously absent.
Rihanna, known for her striking Met Gala appearances, including her recent Miami Formula 1 race event, had to skip this year due to a bout of flu, despite teasing a “real simple” strategy for her look.
Blake Lively, who recently became a mother, also opted out of attending. Although she had hinted at watching the event in 2023, her absence was notable, especially after her memorable color-changing dress at the 2022 Gilded Glamour-themed Met Gala.
Lady Gaga, renowned for her show-stopping Met Gala appearances, has not attended since 2019. Fans were hoping for her presence this year but were disappointed.
