Kickstarting her election campaign in the southern district of Pulwama, Mehbooba Mufti rallied the people of Jammu and Kashmir to express their discontent with the decisions taken by New Delhi by exercising their voting rights.

“This election transcends mere political aspirations. It is an opportunity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir to unequivocally convey their rejection of the decisions imposed upon us by New Delhi since August 2019. Our voices must resonate in the corridors of power,” stated Mehbooba Mufti, emphasizing the significance of the electoral process in conveying the grievances of the region’s populace.
