Afghanistan’s Kabul witnessed a massive explosion on Thursday that brutally killed 2 people and left 12 people injured. The Kabul security department spokesperson appointed by Taliban named Khalid Zadran said that the explosion was due to the grenade blast that occurred in Kabul’s PD 18. Further investigations are being carried out to find out the perpetrator.

Apart from this blast a separate explosion was reported in the northern Mazar-e-Sharif. Further information over the casualties is yet to be shared reported the Khaama Press.

The United Nations mission in Afghanistan indicated that the blast specifically targeted the ethnic Hazari community in the western Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul. The repeated instances of violence and explosions in the Taliban occupied country showcases the ongoing security barriers that the country’s citizens face.
Whereas the ISIS- Khurasan has claimed responsibility for the attack on the civilians in Kabul’s “Qala-e-Nazir Station,” which claimed the lives of two people and injured 14 others, according to media report.
Zadran said that the explosion took place at around 6pm (local time) on Saturday. He stated that the attack involved a minibus vehicle which led to the killing of 20 individuals, claimed the ISIS.
Previously, seven people were killed and about 20 people were injured in the bomb blast or can call attack on a city bus in the Dasht-e-Barchi area.
Since the time the Taliban has take control over Afghanistan, taking care of security is a key challenge that is face by the group. The nation continues to witness terror attacks that results in the loss if the lives of innocent civilians.
