Donations have been pouring in from Hyderabad for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) and My Home Group have donated generously for the construction of the temple. While MEIL managing director Megha Krishna Reddy donated a whopping Rs 6 crore, My Home Group chairman Rameshwar Rao Jupally presented a cheque of Rs 5 crore to Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh general secretary Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi as their contribution to the construction of the Ram temple. Both the industrialists handed over the cheques to Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi through Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at the latter’s ashram in Muchintal. Another real estate group Aparna Constructions also donated Rs 2 crore.
It is not uncommon for Rameshwar Rao to donate huge amounts for spiritual activities. In fact, he donated big amounts to several temples, besides constructing a temple in every housing project of My Home Group. Similarly, both Megha Krishna and Rameshwar Rao proved themselves as large-hearted people with these donations. They have done the same during floods in Hyderabad.
Telugu actor-politician Pawan Kalyan donated Rs 30 lakh for the construction of the Ram temple. Pawan, president of Jansena Party and youngest brother of Chiranjeevi, said in a statement, “Lord Shri Ramachandra is the replica for dharma and tolerance, sacrifice and bravery shown by him is an inspiration to all. India has withstood many attacks because of the path created by Lord Sri Rama. Hence, it is everyone’s responsibility to extend solidarity for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the replica of such dharma. I am donating Rs 30 lakh as my part for the construction of Ram temple.”
