She has sent special varieties of mangoes from Rajshahi in north Bengal to President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other dignitaries. She has not forgotten to send mangoes to former Congress President Sonia Gandhi too. Diplomatic officials from Dhaka described that no special message should be interpreted for sending mangoes to the former Congress President. To give a message to South India, BJP is planning to request PM Modi to contest from Tamil Nadu as a second seat
BJP is planning to spread its political base in South India where they have been decimated.
