A tragic incident occurred this morning involving a Punjab Police bus near the village Ema Mangat on the Jalandhar-Pathankot highway. Disturbingly, it has been reported that four policemen lost their lives in this unfortunate event. The primary cause of this grave accident is believed to be the dense fog prevailing in the area.
The Punjab Police bus was en route to P.A.P in Jalandhar from Gurdaspur when the collision transpired near Mukerian. The bus collided with a stationary truck due to the severe fog conditions. Regrettably, four police personnel lost their lives instantly, and several others sustained injuries. The injured individuals have been promptly admitted to the hospital for medical attention.
