Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha led the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ at Panchayat Dhok Waziran, Nagrota, underscoring the transformative potential of integrated efforts for rural development.
Addressing the PRI representatives and attendees, Lt Governor Sinha lauded their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to amplify awareness about government schemes, ensuring maximum outreach and beneficiary enrollment.
Expressing admiration for the best practices of Panchayat Dhok Waziran, Lt Governor Sinha advocated replicating such models to foster holistic development in villages. He emphasized the need for creating model villages that offer better livelihood options, improved quality of life, and active community participation for a harmonious and prosperous Panchayat.
“Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is committed to achieving 100% saturation of government schemes, providing a significant opportunity for rural and urban areas to empower the common man and vulnerable sections,” remarked Lt Governor Sinha.
Encouraging active participation in the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,’ he urged people to avail of on-spot services, share success stories, and disseminate information about government schemes to every corner of the UT.
Lt Governor Sinha highlighted the government’s efforts to ensure the benefits of welfare measures reach the poor and weaker sections of society. The ‘Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat’ pledge was administered, reinforcing the commitment to the vision of a developed and prosperous Bharat.
