The Election Commission of India has announced dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha election. The Election Commission of India held a press conference to reveal the dates. Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be held in 7 phases beginning on April 19 and ending on June 4. A total of 543 Principal Constituencies will be set up throughout the elections. CEC Rajiv Kumar arrived at the press conference with Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu at 3 pm. On June 16, the current administration will come to an end.

Phase 1 will initiate the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on April 19 and will constitute 21 states and union territories namely, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, West Bengal, Andaman Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Puducherry.

There will be a total of 102 principal constituencies in Phase 1 of the Lok Sabha Elections.

Phase 2 will initiate the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on April 26 and will constitute 13 states and union territories namely, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu & Kashmir.

There will be a total of 89 principal constituencies in Phase 2 of the Lok Sabha Elections.

Phase 3 will initiate the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on May 7 and will constitute 12 states and union territories namely, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujrat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Dadar and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu , Jammu & Kashmir.

There will be a total of 94 principal constituencies in Phase 3 of the Lok Sabha Elections.

Phase 4 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will start on May 13 and will constitute 10 states and union territories namely Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Jammu and Kashmir.

There will be a total of 96 principal constituencies in Phase 4 of the Lok Sabha Elections.

Phase 5 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will start on May 20 and will constitute 8 states and union territories namely Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.

There will be a total of 49 principal constituencies in Phase 5 of the Lok Sabha Elections.

Phase 6 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will start on May 25 and will constitute 7 states and union territories namely Bihar, Haryana, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

There will be a total of 57 principal constituencies in Phase 6 of the Lok Sabha Elections.

Phase 7 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will start on June 1 and will constitute 8 states and union territories namely Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Chandigarh.

There will be a total of 57 principal constituencies in Phase 6 of the Lok Sabha Elections.
