Other states witnessing high voter turnout include Chhattisgarh (53.09% percent), Manipur (54.26% percent), and West Bengal (47.29% percent). Maharashtra has also increased its voter turnout with 31.77% percent.

Tripura registered 36.42 percent voting percentage by 11 am, according to the Election Commission of India. Other states witnessing high voter turnout include Chhattisgarh (35.47 percent), Manipur (33.32 percent), and West Bengal (31.25 percent). However, Maharashtra is experiencing low voter turnout, with only 18.83 percent recorded.
At 11 am, the voting percentages for other states participating in the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls are as follows: Assam (27.43 percent), Bihar (21.68 percent), Jammu and Kashmir (26.61 percent), Karnataka (22.34 percent), Kerala (25.61 percent), Madhya Pradesh (28.15 percent), Rajasthan (26.84 percent), and Uttar Pradesh (24.31 percent).
Due to the intense heat, the polling time has been extended till 6 PM in many polling stations in Banka, Madhepura, Khagaria, and Munger constituencies in Bihar to facilitate voters. Polling for the 29-Betul PC in Madhya Pradesh was rescheduled to the third phase due to the death of a candidate from the Bahujan Samaj Party. The polling for 102 seats in phase one was completed on April 19.
A total of 34.8 lakh first-time voters are registered to cast their votes, along with 3.28 crore young voters in the age group 20-29 years. There are 1202 candidates in the fray, comprising 1098 males, 102 females, and 2 third-gender candidates. The elections are being held in 7 phases, with the results scheduled to be announced on June 4.
