List of Accessories Apple Discontinued With iPhone 16 Series Launch

FineWoven versions of other accessories, such as the MagSafe Wallet and AirTag Key Ring, are still available for purchase. The decision to discontinue the cases likely stems from user feedback, as many complained about the cases’ susceptibility to dirt and fraying.

Following the launch of the iPhone 16 series, Apple has officially discontinued its FineWoven cases, which were introduced last year as an environmentally friendly alternative to leather. The tech giant has removed the FineWoven cases for older iPhone models from its website, leaving no direct replacement available for customers.

However, FineWoven versions of other accessories, such as the MagSafe Wallet and AirTag Key Ring, are still available for purchase. The decision to discontinue the cases likely stems from user feedback, as many complained about the cases’ susceptibility to dirt and fraying.

Limited Case Options for iPhone 16 Series

For the new iPhone 16 lineup, customers can now choose between the Silicone Case and the Clear Case. Apple emphasized that its cases are fully compatible with the iPhone 16’s Camera Control feature. According to the company, the cases “work seamlessly with Camera Control, featuring a sapphire crystal coupled to a conductive layer that communicates finger movements to the Camera Control.”

The Silicone Case with MagSafe is priced at Rs 4,900 and comes in a variety of colors, including fuchsia, ultramarine, star fruit, and lake green.

FineWoven MagSafe Wallet Still Available

Though the FineWoven cases are no longer available, the FineWoven MagSafe Wallet can still be purchased from Apple’s website. Priced at Rs 5,900, the wallet remains an option for those seeking a sustainable accessory from Apple’s lineup.

With the removal of FineWoven cases, Apple continues to refine its product offerings as it emphasizes user feedback and new features.
