Maa Durga has arrived again to shower her blessings on us this Navratri. During these ninedays, the nine forms of Shakti will be worshipped by Hindus all over the world. The Goddess ofstrength, resilience, and courage is an eternal source of inspiration. Here are the life lessons to learn from the nine forms of Maa Durga –

1. Faith will take you far
It would appear that you are in the midst of a chaotic time in your life right now. It could look as though there is no way out of the chaos that you are currently experiencing, yet there is actually a route out. During trying times like these, the best thing you can do for yourself is to hold fast to your faith in God. This will be the single most beneficial thing you can do for yourself. If you have faith that things will get better in the future, you can rest assured that you will always have something to cling to that will help you stay afloat no matter how challenging life may seem. This is the moral that we are to take away from Maa Durga.

2. Positivity is the essence of life
A pessimistic frame of mind is the underlying source of all other difficulties; it puts a person in a state of readiness for catastrophe, pushes them to hunt for opportunities to fail, and, in general, transforms one’s life into a daily hell for that particular individual. A negative state of mind is the fundamental issue that underlies all of the other difficulties. On the flip side, having a more positive outlook on life paves the way for you to be able to have experiences that are filled with greater joy than they otherwise would have been. Additionally, it enables you to conceive of strategies to confront obstacles from the perspective of uncovering feasible answers, which, in turn, enables you to have experiences that are more joyful for you.

3. Love is the most powerful feeling
It could be a job, a vocation, the chance to further one’s education, or even a piece of property… You should make it a top priority to guarantee that love and passion are the primary motivating forces behind all that you set out to do and everything that you do. This should be the case for everything from the goals that you set to the actions that you take. It is important to keep this in mind in every facet of your life. The growth of unfavorable feelings such as resentment, jealousy, or arrogance has no place in any way, shape, or form in a life that is successful and full of happiness. There is no room for it in any way, shape, or form. Such emotions simply have no place in this conversation.

4. The importance of discipline
The life of an individual might gain a feeling of purpose and meaning when they make the effort to adhere to certain rules and regulations. If they do not have discipline, people with even the highest talent will not be able to reach the goals they have set for themselves. It is said that the nine incarnations of the goddess Maa Durga reflect the highest level of self-control in all of its myriad manifestations. They motivate us to give up some of the comforts and luxuries of the here and now in exchange for a brighter and more secure future.
