Leaders honour Bhairon Singh Shekhawat’s centennial legacy

A book written about Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was launched on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat served as the Deputy President of India and was a three-time Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The book titled “Mati Ke Lal – Babosa Bhairon Singh Shekhawat”, was authored by his nephew Jitendra Singh Shekhawat (Khachariyawas). Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Ghanshyam Tiwari launched the book, and the ceremony took place at the Bhairon Singh Auditorium, Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The ceremony was presided over by Raghavacharya Ji Maharaj, the head of Rewasa Dham. Prominent figures, including Dr. K.L. Jain, President of the Jaipur City Congress, and social worker Suresh Gandhi, were present as special guests. Chandmal Kumawat, Chairman of Manish Media, welcomed everyone.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra paid their tributes to Bhairon Singh Shekhawat at the event held at the Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur.
At the gathering, a video depicted Bhairon Singh Shekhawat’s life journey, starting from his government job in the police force to his political career, including his first election, becoming Chief Minister, and eventually reaching the position of Vice President. The event was attended by politicians such as Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Bhupender Yadav, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, MP Rajendra Gahlot, Diya Kumari, and Ashok Parnami.
