Despite their efforts to rebuild their online presence, they are now facing severe backlash, particularly from the Sikh community. The couple recently encountered hostility when a group of Nihangs confronted Sehaj at their Kulhad Pizza shop. The Nihangs demanded that Sehaj either stop wearing his turban in his videos or cease content creation altogether, raising tensions even further.

In response to these threats, Sehaj and Gurmeet reached out to the Akal Takht Sahib, the highest temporal authority in Sikhism, for intervention and protection. In a heartfelt Instagram video, they pleaded with the Jathedar (religious head) to address their concerns and ensure the safety of their family.

Amid the ongoing threats, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted police protection to the Kulhad Pizza couple. The court’s decision followed the couple’s petition, seeking security due to the escalating situation involving the Nihangs.
