Kremlin Dismisses Zelenskyy "Victory Plan," Urges Kyiv To Rethink Strategy

The Kremlin criticized Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s “victory plan,” claiming it was premature to comment while urging Kyiv to rethink its strategies. Zelenskyy believes the conflict with Russia could end by next year if his plan is implemented. The US supports Ukraine’s autonomy in determining its response to Russia.

The Kremlin stated on Wednesday that it is too early to comment extensively on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s proposed “victory plan,” but urged Kyiv to reconsider its approach, calling its current policies futile.

Zelenskyy announced earlier that the conflict with Russia could potentially be resolved by next year if his plan is implemented immediately. However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov suggested that the plan is likely aligned with US interests, accusing Washington of using Ukraine to fight against Russia “until the last Ukrainian.”

The US, which has provided Ukraine with billions of dollars in military aid, maintains that Kyiv has the authority to decide its own course of action regarding the conflict with Russia.
