Police nab cyber criminals for stealing money from Bengal HC Chief Justice's bank account

Kolkata Police arrested four cyber criminals who defrauded a Bengal High Court justice. The Lal Bazar police branch’s anti-fraud division captured the offenders. These guilty parties had stolen money from the Bengal HC Chief Justice’s bank account

Police have identified all three offenders as Shankar Mandal, Mithun Mandal, and Tapan Mandal. As per the sub-inspector, Gautam Laha, all the culprits were arrested during the raid at Mattar village under Karmatand police station.

The culprits have been taken to Kolkata on transit remand by the Bengal Police. Cops have also apprehended Shiv Shankar Mandal from Jhilua, who conned with a Calcutta University employee, Devlina Seth, for Rs 430000. 

According to the police, all the perpetrators were apprehended with the help of many online scammers.

Mumbai police also landed in Jamtara in an effort to apprehend the cyber thief who stole money from the accounts of a Supreme Court lawyer and from a family member of a judge of the Mumbai High Court. They are currently conducting raids close to the Karmatand police station.
