Nusrat Jahan, a former actress who is now a Trinamool Congress member, arrived at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Kolkata on Tuesday morning after being summoned by the federal agency in connection with a case involving her association as a director with a dubious financial organization that is accused of defrauding senior citizens of several crores of rupees by promising them residential flats at affordable prices.

Tuesday, Nusrat was called to the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) office in the CGO Complex in Salt Lake to answer questions regarding her relationship to the aforementioned company, 7 Sense Infrastructure Private Ltd. According to the complaint, the MP was a former director of the business. Shankudeb Panda of the BJP is assisting the senior citizens who have complained about the Trinamool leader.

However, the TMC MP has come under fire from the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with party State Secretary Agnimitra Paul declaring that Nusrat Jahan will be punished if there is any evidence against her. You can be a chief minister, a politician, or a movie star, but if you defraud people, the Modi Government will not spare you… For Nusrat Jahan to purchase a flat, retired people gave crores of rupees from their life savings. Both the apartment and the money were lost. The investigation is ongoing, and Nusrat Jahan will face consequences if there is evidence, according to Paul.
