Agriculture, Horticulture, and Rural Development Minister Kirodi Lal Meena participated in the “Mantri Aapke Dwar” public grievance redressal program on Monday. This program took place at Meena High School, Ajnoti, in Sawai Madhopur district.
During the occasion, Agriculture Minister Dr Meena said that reaching out to the common people and addressing their grievances at their doorstep is the government’s top priority. He directed all officials to conduct hearings with full diligence and provide relief by resolving cases within the stipulated timeframe. He announced the establishment of a farmer service centre in Chakari for Rs. 10 lakh and the approval of the demand of Chakari villagers for 132 GSS from the state government. Kirodi Lal Meena mentioned that under Prime Minister Kusum Yojana, farmers receive subsidies of up to 60% for installing solar plants and up to 95% for constructing playhouses. Small and marginal farmers have to deposit a farmer’s share amount of Rs. 10,17,200, with the total cost estimated at Rs. 42 lakhs.
He provided information to the rural population present through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry officers about all the schemes related to the agriculture department and their benefits. He urged farmers to increase their income by innovating in agriculture, policy houses, and shade nets.
