An unknown accused escaped from the spot after writing ‘Haryana Banega Khalistan’ on the walls of Dyal Singh College and DAV School in Karnal. Soon, the police painted the wall black after taking the video. Police are searching for the accused by registering a case under the UAPA on Monday.

An audio call recording of terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, founder of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has reached the people, and they have been warned of dire consequences. Pannu has reportedly released a video claiming the responsibility. Allegedly naming CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Home minister Anil Vij, he mentioned a ‘referendum on 26 January in Haryana’. The Daily Guardian Review can’t independently verify the contents of the video.

Activities regarding Khalistan are increasing in the district. A few days ago, after a protest post on Khalistan on behalf of youth in the city, some people attacked the Karnal youth with sticks. After its video went viral on social media, the police registered a case and arrested some of the accused.

Now on Sunday night, unknown youths escaped by writing Haryana Banega Khalistan. Soon after, the police administration swung into action, and the Civil Lines station in-charge Sandeep reached the spot along with the police force. After getting the videography done, he painted the wall black. In relation to this incident, a video has also gone viral on behalf of Pannu, in which the said slogan has been mentioned. Along with this, the attack on youth with a knife in Sector-14 is also there.

Slogans were written in support of Khalistan on the walls of Dyal Singh College and DAV School in the city. Police went to the spot and investigated and a case has been registered against the unknown at the Civil Lines police station. CIA teams are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras to identify the accused, said Gangaram Poonia, SP Karnal.
