The Delhi traffic authorities have announced the closure of a key part of the service road on NH-48, from the Dwarka Link Road merging point to Mahipalpur Petrol Pump, due to repairs being carried out by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). This closure will last for two months.

According to the advisory issued on Tuesday, “For the safety of commuters, the service road on NH-48, from NSG Office to Mahipalpur Petrol Pump, will remain closed for 60 days for repairs. This will affect traffic from Gurugram to Mahipalpur.”

Alternative Routes Suggested

For commuters traveling from Gurugram to Dhaula Kuan, it is recommended to use Dwarka Expressway and follow the route through Yashobhoomi, Dwarka Sector 23 Crossing, Janki Chowk, and other sector crossings before reaching Palam Flyover for Dhaula Kuan.

For those using the Dabri-Gurugram Road, the suggested route is via Dwarka Flyover, Dwarka Road, Station Road, and Parade Road.

If traveling from Gurugram to Mahipalpur, commuters should continue along Dwarka Expressway and Yashobhoomi.

Additionally, travelers heading to IGI Airport or New Delhi Railway Station from Gurugram are encouraged to take the Metro from Dwarka Sector-21 on the Airport Express Line for convenience.

Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time to account for delays caused by the roadworks.
